Giving Girls the Skills to Shape the Digital Future
The world is changing quickly, and the skills young people need to thrive are changing with it. Today, education must prepare children not only to read and write, but to think critically, use technology confidently and understand how digital tools can create new possibilities.
For girls growing up in underserved communities, access to these opportunities can make a significant difference.
At The Oguntoyinbo Foundation, we are committed to ensuring that girls are part of the digital future, not left on the sidelines.
Through our Code Her Future initiative, we introduce girls to programming, artificial intelligence, digital tools and responsible technology use. More importantly, we create a learning environment where they can ask questions, experiment, solve problems and discover what they are capable of building.
From Users to Creators
Digital inclusion is about more than having access to a device or knowing how to use an app. It is about having the knowledge and confidence to use technology to learn, solve problems, create opportunities and participate in the wider world.
With the right training and mentorship, a girl can move from simply using technology to understanding how it works and imagining what she could create with it.
That shift matters.
It can open pathways to education, entrepreneurship, employment and global communities that may once have felt beyond reach.
Preparing Girls for What Comes Next
Technology will continue to reshape the way we work and live. We want the girls we support to approach that future with curiosity rather than fear, and with confidence rather than limitation.
Through practical learning, mentorship and exposure to emerging technologies, TOF is helping young girls develop skills that can serve them far beyond the classroom.
We are investing in girls who can think, create, innovate and lead.
Because the future of technology should include every girl with the opportunity to shape it.
